Heavy machinery includes numerous areas that are difficult or impossible for the operator to see. In addition, moving working components such as booms, excavator arms, or forks must be taken into account when monitoring the surroundings. Motec developed the MVCD2000 human detection system specifically for these demanding applications. Thanks to its powerful combination of a video controller, flexibly configurable software, and up to four Full HD cameras, the system can be adapted to virtually any vehicle architecture. Machine operators can now procure the human detection system in a particularly cost-effective manner, as it meets the requirements of BG Bau in accordance with GS-BAU-71. As a result, the MVCD2000 system qualifies for funding as an occupational safety measure for construction machinery. Since the occupational safety incentives provided by the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG) are also based on GS-BAU-71, operators of agricultural and forestry machinery can likewise benefit from funding for the MVCD2000.
