The RISE Robotics 20 kN Beltdraulic™ Cylinder brings hydraulic-class force to an all-electric linear actuator.

Using RISE’s patented Beltdraulic™ architecture, reinforced belts convert motor torque into smooth, high-force linear motion without hydraulic pumps, hoses, valves, or fluid. The result is an actuator that combines the force and robustness expected from hydraulics with the speed, efficiency, precision, and intelligence of electric motion.

Rated for 20 kN (4,500 lbf) of continuous force, the cylinder can be configured for applications ranging from controlled, high-force motion to speeds up to 2,000 mm/s. Standard stroke lengths range from 100–1,000 mm, with extended strokes up to 5,080 mm available for appropriately supported applications.

Beltdraulic™ cylinders offer symmetrical push and pull force, closed-loop motion control, proactive actuator health monitoring, industrial communications including CAN and Modbus, and a power-off motor brake. Customers can integrate their preferred motor or select a RISE ready-to-run motor and drive package, allowing power and performance to be tailored to the application.
