AX140740 is an Ethernet Switch with one 10 Gbit/s port and four 1 Gbit/s ports that operates as an unmanaged switch and is designed for industrial and automotive applications. The internal state of the switch is displayed by LEDs on the front panel of the housing.
The 1 Gigabit to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch is designed with four 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, or 1000BASE-T connections to channel data to one 10GBASE-T connection to prevent bandwidth loss. The 10 Gbit/s Ethernet port is intended for connection to the uplink Ethernet infrastructure or a high-bandwidth server but can be used as a regular downlink port. All ports can be individually configured for the desired connection speed, duplex, and flow control. An embedded web server allows users to configure ports, monitor device performance, download and upload configuration parameters, and update application firmware. An auxiliary RS-232 port can be used as a local alternative to the remote web server interface, similar to a console port on a generic Ethernet switch.
The AX140740 Ethernet Switch requires a supply voltage of 12 or 24 VDC nominal (9 to 36 VDC) for operation. The unit features a rugged, anodized, IP67-rated housing, and industrial M12 X-coded connectors for all 5 Ethernet ports and the Power port.
