The PA-10 Water-Resistant Linear Actuator combines compact construction, high-force electric actuation, and environmental protection for applications exposed to demanding outdoor conditions. Available in 12 VDC and 24 VDC configurations, it delivers up to 450 lb of dynamic and static force with stroke lengths ranging from 2 to 36 inches.

The 12 VDC configuration operates at 0.28 in./sec with no load and 0.16 in./sec at full load, drawing up to 6.0 A at full load. The 24 VDC version reaches 0.56 in./sec with no load and 0.33 in./sec at full load, with a maximum full-load current of 4.0 A. Its relatively low power requirements support integration into battery-powered and vehicle-based systems.

The PA-10 features an IP66 environmental protection rating, a stainless steel stroke rod, built-in non-adjustable limit switches, an ACME screw, a brushed DC motor, and a 20% duty cycle. It operates across a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Optional Hall effect feedback configurations are also available for applications requiring position feedback.

For applications requiring additional corrosion resistance, the PA-10 is available in a Salt Spray-rated version with a porcelain-plated housing tested for up to 400 hours of salt spray exposure.

The PA-10 is applicable across automotive, agricultural, and mobile machinery systems. Progressive Automations lists applications including combine and forage harvesters, fruit pickers and harvesters, compact excavators, lawn mowers, snow plows and blowers, compact forklifts, motorhomes, and campers.
