Pektron 360 Vision & Infotainment System
Alongside the vision functionality, the
infotainment platform provides multi-stream video management, Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM/DAB/DAB+ and WB (Weather Band) radio, hands-free
communication with echo cancellation and integration to Class D audio
amplification. CAN 2.0B and CAN FD connectivity, together with automotive
Ethernet, enables integration with modern vehicle electronic architectures.
Built around an NXP i.MX 8M Plus quad-core
processor, the system is designed to provide the processing capability required
for advanced video, graphics and infotainment applications, while supporting
future software development and functionality.
Engineered for the harsh conditions
associated with off-highway vehicles, the fully sealed enclosure has an operating
temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, as well as load dump and reverse-battery
protection. Ultra-low sleep current helps minimize battery drain when the
vehicle is not in operation.
For OEMs, integrating these capabilities
into a single platform can help reduce system complexity while providing a
scalable architecture for future vehicle development.
The system is particularly suited to agricultural
machinery, construction equipment, commercial vehicles and specialist
off-highway applications, where operator visibility, vehicle connectivity,
