TURCK's DR Radar Distance Sensor - Rugged radar sensing for mobile equipment and off-highway vehicles
Designed for rugged applications, the compact 122 GHz radar sensors feature IP67/IP69K protection and shock resistance up to 100 g—making them well suited for the vibration, impact, moisture, and harsh operating conditions encountered by construction, agricultural, material handling, and other off-highway equipment.
Potential applications include object and obstacle detection, vehicle positioning, equipment and attachment positioning, distance and height measurement, and other applications requiring reliable non-contact sensing.
For mobile equipment applications, the sensors can also operate without IO-Link at supply voltages as low as 10 VDC, simplifying integration into vehicle electrical systems.
