Compact High-Performance PCLS Valve Technology

20 Aug 2026
Room 12
NFPA, Day 2
Compact off highway machines demand increasingly high hydraulic performance without the space, cost, or complexity of traditional load sensing architectures. Compact high performance pressure-compensated load-sensing (PCLS) valves help deliver the smallest sectional footprint in the market. This presentation will explore this unique technology, including an example with a patented series pump connection with a metered compensator bypass, enabling tailored multi function flow sharing, smooth compensator hand offs, and improved efficiency. The platform’s compact scale is enabled by an small electro proportional relief valve, allowing fully integrated electro hydraulics without sacrificing performance, durability, or system flexibility for compact machine applications.
  • How full PCLS performance is achieved in an ultra-compact sectional footprint
  • How integrated EPRVs enable compact electro-hydraulic system design
  • How simplified architecture reduces component count and overall system cost
  • How compact packaging enables easier machine integration and improved overall design flexibility
  • Target markets: <3T mini excavators, AWP, TMH, and compact loaders
