Chris Vavra has more than a decade of experience covering the engineering, manufacturing and automation industries. He spent 13 years as an editor, writer and production manager for CFE Media and Technology (now part of WTWH Media LLC), working almost exclusively for Control Engineering and Plant Engineering. He also was editor-in-chief of OEM Off-Highway from 2024 to 2025, covering the industry as a leading voice and was named as one of the top 10 influencers by Turntide Technologies. Vavra is currently the Content Strategist and Tactician for StratMg, helping manufacturers develop their stories and making them authoritative figures in their respective fields.
