Congmin Niu is the senior engineering manager for hydraulic systems and components in the Surface Haulage business unit at Komatsu Mining Technologies. He has over 40 years of engineering experience and has held the position of hydraulic engineer, project engineer, director of systems development, and manager of testing and analysis at various companies. Congmin obtained his bachelor’s degree in the fluid power and controls program at Zhejiang University, where hosts the Chinese State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power and Mechatronics Systems. Congmin has a master’s degree in reliability engineering from the University of Maryland.
