David Calley is a serial entrepreneur in technology hardware. He started by developing residential wind turbines as Southwest Windpower, producing hundreds of thousands of wind turbines sold globally and earning 'Exporter of the year' from the SBA, and DOE's 'Outstanding Partnership of the Year'. Calley developed the technology for the TrailerTail semi-trailer drag reduction device and developed two successful electric motor technologies before Elemental Motors. These were sold to Graco and Moog. Calley has an ongoing relationship with MIT.
