Mark Pickett is President of WINMARK Capture Solutions, a southeast Michigan capture consultancy that helps companies translate dual-use technology from commercial and to defense markets. A chemical engineer by training (Michigan State University), he has spent more than 30 years working both sides of that divide. For example, at SAF-Holland, he served commercial truck, construction, and fire customers alongside defense primes. That dual-use perspective is now the core of his consultancy, where he advises companies bringing autonomy, AI, ground-vehicle, and survivability technologies into the defense market. He is Shipley-certified and serves as Vice Chair of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Conference, an Expert in Residence at the Centrepolis Defense Hardtech Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University, and Director of Scholarships for Women in Defense, Michigan Chapter.
